Re: Via Francigena (Canterbury - Rome)
Have you seen the site for the Italian part? https://www.viefrancigene.org/en/resour ... gory/bici/ Using that site since 2014, when I made my other Pilgrimsroute Emo's Reis (only in Dutch). In 2015 I cycled from the north of the Netherlands to Rome. After Pavia I also cycled parts of the Via Franc...

Via Francigena (Canterbury - Rome)
Not really a new route, the route was already described in the year 990. But there is now a completely described route from Canterbury to Rome by bike. The Italian part was already described and signposted a few years ago by the European Association of the Via Francigena Ways (EAVF). In the past yea...

Re: Cycle Travel question!
I'm trying to upload some tracks to Cycle.travel. The process keeps getting stuck. I get the message: Sorry Couldn't find any likely roads or trails: Query string malformed close to position 1212 where the number is always different. They are tracks I made myself. To check, have a track made by cycl...

Hmm, I prefer cycle travel. The only restriction, it's not worldwide. But I don't mind that.

See this post from the past:

I should never book a train in Switserland beforehand.

Re: Getting to Andermatt for the Rhine Cycle Route
The Dutch site "Treinreiswinkel" (Traintravelshop :D ) gives the following: https://www.treinreiswinkel.nl/treintickets/zwitserland/voorboeking-basel Timetable in the red block. This is bike included. You only have to travel from The Hook to Arnhem. Peter Dagtrein = Daytrain Nachttrein = N...

Re: Getting to Andermatt for the Rhine Cycle Route
Getting as far as Basel is easy, not sure beyond there. After Basel is is the easiest part. :) In the station in Basel, just buy your ticket for you and your bike. Every train, or almost every train, takes bikes. The biggest problem you may encounter is that the bike has to be hoisted in the locomo...

Oké. Thanks for the quick response.
It looked sinister, but it's clear now what happened.

More or less the same problem over here, but a bit more sinister. Yesterday I got an e-mail from: mbadmin@ctc.org.uk New reply to the topic New route planner . Nothing strange, as I'm writing in this topic. Clicking the link to the latest reaction: http://forum.cyclinguk.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t...

The first part I understand. But where to find the '3D'-button?
Top right of the Elevation window - choose between 2D and 3D

Thanks. Need new glasses.
