Re: Introductions - tell us about yourself

So yeah, I've been member for little while on this board, especially since I've got hooked on distance touring. I think that I have found the hobby (hopefully) for the rest of my life if I keep up with good health for at least another 40yrs :) My first major tour was last year from London to Hungary...

That is what I have. Maybe I will borrow it from my commuter when I go touring in the summer.

Thanks for all your information!

Stay diameter of Tubus Logo classic

Someone offered me to sale a tubus logo rack, but unfortunately it comes without the stays.
Does any of you know what is the diameter of the stays because I have an other rack on another bike that might fit.
In case it doesn't where can I order it from?

Many thanks!

Re: Neo Air Venture sleeping mat

Has anybody used one of these mats before. I always suffer with hip problems sleeping on a roll mat, and this looks like a good option for my 2 week trip in June. It packs small and weighs only 690 grams, which means it would fit in a pannier instead of being fastened to the rear rack. I toured the...

Mine does the same. I think it's standard with these lights.

Re: Lifespan of the B&M dynamo lights

I have a first generation 60 lux IQ Cyo bought practically at its introduction in 2008. It has seen regular use ever since without any problems. I also own an IQ Fly from 2007. It hasn't been used so much the last couple of years, but it is still in perfect working order. I rarely turn of the light...

Lifespan of the B&M dynamo lights

Hi, I have been using the Luxos u lamp accompanied with the Toplight line brake plus since February. As the daylight hours getting shorter I have to use the lights more on my morning and evening commute. Alivio crankset with new 22T chainring

Hi,

I have an Alivio crankset with 48/38/28 chainset.
I would like to change the 28 ring to a 22T.

Will I have any problems with shifting or may need a new front mech?

Crankset: Alivio FCM11 8 speed
Front mech: Alivio
Rear casette: HG51 11-32

Any advice would be appreciated.
