Re: Carerra Subway Front Rack Recommendations

in which case I'd suggest that you cold set the rack wider, buy some longer screws and spacers, and fit it that way. By all means confirm this approach with the rack vendor, but that is what a bike shop would do if you paid them to fit it, I am sure. cheers I'm not sure you understood what I meant....

Re: Carerra Subway Front Rack Recommendations

I bought the MTF-1 already, thinking that it would fit, but the width of the front forks is too great. The fork attachments of it are not wide enough.

Re: Carerra Subway Front Rack Recommendations

Hi Brucey,

What I really want is one with a top shelf so that i can secure my tent to it and have a couple of panners.

Here's what my forks look like...

Carerra Subway Front Rack Recommendations

I'm struggling to find a front rack thats suitable for my Carerra Subway. I tried going into Halfords and asking them, but they're about as much use as you know what.

Does anyone have a Carerra Subway with a front rack on it? Any suggestion?

Thanks

Just received my new handbuilt wheels - One Question?

I've just received a pair of new handbuilt wheels from Spa Cycles - 26" XT 6 bolt hubs with Rigida Sputnik 36h rims.

Nowhere on the rims does it say Sputnik. All it says is a Spa Cycles sticker and a Rigida sticker. How can I be sure these are Sputnik rims?

thanks

Cheers whoof.

I've placed an order with Spa cycles for a set of XT hubs on Sputnik rims. Looking forward to trying them out.

26" Handbuild Wheelset Required

I'm looking to get a pair of strong 26" wheels with disc brakes handbuilt. I want them to be able to take up to 2" tyres.

Could anyone recommend a good place to get them from.

Thanks

New Crankset for my Carrera Subway

I have a Carrera Subway with a Suntour XCT 8 speed triple crankset. I would like to do some full loaded touring on it and as such would like to swap the crankset for a 42/32/22. Would anyone know if this would be suitable... http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/shimano-acera-m361-triple-chainset-squar...
