Re: Road 90 between Beit She`an + Ein Gedi, Israel

Mattie those are excellent pictures, 45 C is kinda hot! I have travelled by car between Beit She´an and Ein Gedi with no hint of trouble but perhaps a bicycle may be considered a easier target.

Road 90 between Beit She`an + Ein Gedi, Israel

How safe is route 90 to cycle between Beit She`an and Ein Gedi? The masterplan is to cycle all the way from Metula (near Kfar Shmona) all the way down to Eilat along route 90 (470 glorious kms). The bit between these two places is about 140kms-ish and I dont think I have the stamina + fortitude to p...

Re: Accessible accommodation along The Danube

Maybe not the best solution is to consider youth hostels along the Danube. Germany has plenty of these:

Perhaps not necessarily to book through the site but merely to have the address and contact details as back up.

Have fun.

Re: A long shot, but just perhaps - Tel Aviv

Bring your helmet along, they are quite strict about this. You may seriously want to consider hiring a Segway, this you will enjoy and the local kids will think you are megacool and high five you everywhere. Best place to consider renting a Segway or even a bicycle from are the excellent peops locat...

Re: Train back from Biarritz

I have travelled this area quite a fair bit. From Bilbao to Biarritz by train is easy. From the Atxuri station you take the Topo all the way to Hendaye endstop. You may have to take a train to Donostia first then transfer over to another Topo all the way to Hendaye. This will take about 2 hours to D...

If you either prefer to let them get your bike home or even to the airport all boxed up.

Have walked Camino Frances and cycled the Northern route along the coast.

Have fun.
