When I was a child , in the 1940s/50s my Father used to get a Cycling Magazine. I think it was the CTC Gazette or similar.

This had comic advertisements for a chain manufacturing company ( Reynolds Chains???) featuring a character called Professor Eddy Willi. He made weird pedal powered gadgets.

Has anybody ever come across these on the Internet? If so , can you please supply details.
