Re: Cat eye Reflex lights keep turning themselves off?

Are these the 'Auto' HL/TL-570 type (or similar) that are supposed to self-activate/de-activate with motion? My 560 type without the auto feature are fine, so suspect it something to do with the motion sensor. Unless it is the more common issue with battery powered gadgets of the batteries losing c...

Cat eye Reflex lights keep turning themselves off?

Hi Guys, my Cateye Reflex lights keep turning themselves off, even though it's dark and I am still moving.

Does anyone know a hack / fix for this problem, or do I just need to invest in better lights?

Thanks for looking.

Cycling First Aid Kits

Hi Guys. I am a First Aider in the workplace, and this week on the cycle part of my commute, I assisted another first Aider attending to a cyclist that had taken a tumble. Neither of us had a first aid kit and had make do. This has got me thinking that I should carry a kit (I might need it myself), ...

Mirrors for a Brompton with P handlebars

Hi guys, few weeks in with my Brommie, and I am starting to think that a mirror might be really useful. Lots to choose from, but what will fit to a P handlebar and not interfere with folding? I guess an alternative might be a helmet mounted mirror, but are they useful or a distraction? I would value...

Brompton Owners - T Bag Strap Alternatives

I am now getting to grips with commuting with my Brommie, but am finding the strap that comes with the T Bag literally a bit of a pain. Because there is no pad on the strap it tends to "dig in" on longer carries. Probably doesn't help that I have to cart a laptop and all the gubbins as wel...

Re: Brompton Owners - What emergency kit do you carry?

Thanks guys, very helpful, especially the emergency cash. I think I have got out of the habit of carrying just in case cash. I now have a good idea of what to put in my kit.
