Re: A salutary tale......caveat emptor
I have both bought and sold on here.So far without any problems. The key to selling is be honest and supply accurate photos and provide the goods as advertised. If you are buying pay cash on collection if you are picking it up or use PayPal or similar. Personally if I’m spending several hundred poun...

Forum is not user friendly
Having posted on here a few times I don't find it very easy to use. Having posted an advert how do I remove it should I wish to?
They're us no obvious link to my posts.
I may be just thick but it's quite frustrating

Re: Campagnolo/Shimano mix
Thanks your all the replies.
I’m running a ten speed Campagnolo casette on it now with 28 sprocket and would use my other wheels with 28 Shimano Ultegra cassette

Re: Campagnolo/Shimano mix
It’s already running a ten speed Campagnolo cassette on a Fulcum rea4 wheel. I’ve got a nice set of
Wheels with Dura Ace hubs and open Pro rims with an Ultegra ten speed cassette. I just want o swap the Fulcum wheels out for the better Dura Ace ones

Campagnolo/Shimano mix
Hi
My question is can I use a rear wheel with a Shimano ten speed cassette on my bike fitted with a Campagnolo rear mech.
Shifting is non indexed friction downtube levers. I’m guessing it will be okay but anyone else have experience of this?
Thanks for any help

Re: BB30 bottom bracket observations

Comprising two plastic press fit shells and a plastic sleeve, two ball bearing races and an couple of plastic washers. No means of keeping wate4 out of it. I sure there are better types available but. This par...

BB30 bottom bracket observations
Just wondering what other people’s experience of BB30 bottom brackets has been. I ask as I bought a preowned cyclocross bike which had little use.I used it for a dry Paris Roubaix sportive and it’s not had hardly any other use since as I ride other bikes. When doing some general maintenance the othe...

Thanks for all your replies, I’m going to have it done I know it makes sense.
Regarding epidural and sedation are you aware of what’s going on or are you completely out of it. Think I’m going to go that route as recovery from anaesthetic is quicker I believe.

Re: Hip replacement and cycling
I’m due to have a hip replacement in three weeks,I’m 59 and have been active cyclist ,walker etc all my life. To say the least I’m anxious about the surgery and whether I will be able to realistically return to my previous level of fitness. I considering postponing the operation until I’m older and ...

Re: Hip replacement and cycling
I’ve just turned 59 and have got my THR booked in for Sept. Having read the posts on here I’m encouraged about how people can get back to riding and achieve their personal goals. I’m nervous about it to say the least as road riding is my passion. But currently I’m getting frustrated by constant pain...
