Joey Airnimal - User manual?
I've been on Airnimal's site. Can't find anything resembling a user manual. Emailed them; they replied helpfully re fixing rear mudguard using a zip tie. But nothing regarding a manual... It's about ten years old with front disc and rear Alfine hub gears - see photos. Can anyone point me to a manual? Thanks.

Re: Roll top bar bags
I'll put a waterproof jacket, phone and a few odds and ends in. I have an Ortlieb 6 litre bar bag on my Thorn Sherpa but want a roll top for the Joey. The Joey has flat bars - see photo.

Roll top bar bags
I have an Airnimal Joey. I'd like a front or bar bag around 4 litres in size. I wondered what people use? I like the Arkel Signature bag but it's expensive at £75 https://ghyllside.co.uk/luggage-acc...e ... our-copper There is a similar Ortlieb Accessory bag at 3.5l. I wonder if either would fit without fouling the front cables?

Airnimal Joey - Rear rack
Does anyone know if I could fit a standard rear rack of some kind instead of the branded one - it's £90!!! Or £60 for the "retro-fit" kit - whatever that means...

Re: Airnimal Joey - rear mudguard slippage/Manual
It's a standard type rear mudguard fixing to bracket. I wonder why there is tape over the bracket?

Airnimal Joey - rear mudguard slippage/Manual
I've just bought a used Airnimal Joey. The rear mudguard is slipping round the wheel. On inspection it's because there is no bolt through the bottom of the mudguard into the frame... Can anyone advise what size bolt I need? Looks like a 5mm bottle holder bolt might fit. Though maybe the head would protrude onto the tyre... The bike came with no manual/guide book... On Airnimal's website I can find no manual/guide book/written instructions on folding and maintenance. It's about ten years old with 8 speed Alfine hub and front disc brake. Does anyone have a pdf? Thanks.

Re: Map showing public showers in UK?
Really useful info thank you. Pity there isn't a canal shower anywhere near me. Looking into joining a gym with a special joining offer.

Re: Best Camping & Caravan Club sites for cycling
How do I tell if a site is 'certificated' ? Thanks.Vantage wrote: ↑24 Mar 2021, 2:36pm I'd say it depends on what you're after.
The main c&cc sites have numerous toilets, showers and washing areas as well as maybe even an on-site shop for basics. Busy, noisy (despite the rules) and not very personal. The grounds are usually quite flat and well maintained.
The certificated sites are my favourite. Small, basic but usually very quiet, run by farmers who won't put up with noisy buggers and often have nice views. And I think, safer for your bike and belongings. Cheaper also.

Re: Ferry Across the Mersey on a Sunday
I never had any problems just putting my bike on any train from Wallasey Grove Road (New Brighton line) to Liverpool. No booking and no extra charge.

Map showing public showers in UK?
Currently the shower at home is broken so I looked for local public showers... This is on the Wirral near Liverpool but I also tried Bristol a couple of weeks ago whilst there. I can't find any! In Germany all major rail stations have public showers... Is there a map of such facilities in the UK? I don't want to have to join an expensive gym just to have a shower.

Re: Pannier rack for urban bike?
An update. See attached photo of the eyes on the frame of the bike. I've never seen these type before - I think they are not functional eyes but just the design of the frame. Am I right?

Pannier rack for urban bike?
My sister would like a rack fitted to her bike. Its a Claud Butler Urban Hybrid - smallish as she's only 5' 1" tall. Its only for light shopping but with panniers. I have some inexpensive Lidl panniers to give her. What would people recommend? Amazon Prime is preferred as postage would be included.

Re: Cinelli quill stem
I should mention the weird look to the headset is in fact a reusable cable tie. Once I discovered these I mounted three around the bike as useful for luggage when touring etc.

Re: Cinelli quill stem
If that's the case it looks like I'll be seeking a new stem. Which is a shame as its beautiful... Any recommendations? It would need to have a higher reach.
The frame is a late 90s 531C Harry Hall audax modded (pump peg/front light screw on fork and cable guides moved to under top tube) and fitted with Campag 8 speed though only Veloce.
