Re: How much power do I need?

Does it all have to be electric? Kettle & hot water (& heating too) could be gas powered. That would reduce the electricity need dramatically. Other factors may come into play as you have to deal with factors such as large heavy gas cannisters. Rick. No that would not be an option and its j...

Re: Cycling club changing rooms

Having purchased a PortAcabin for for a company I worked for, they are not a very helpful company and can take an age to get any response from. However their worst selling point is their price, there are cheaper options that be sourced elsewhere for a better and more competitive price. However I do ...

Re: Folding Bicycle

done; some comments; 1) you can't quite spell aesthetic (twice; differently each time!) Sorry I would normally let these things go but for some reason this has bugged me, but I really don't think making comments about spelling is called for or appropriate you know nothing about the OP and to start ...

Re: Work Stand - Tern Bikes

I did think about attaching it by the seat post, but I have never been on this idea so if I can avoid I try too. As for the luxury of a workplace inside I'm afraid I didn't win the lottery on that front and have to do all my maintenance outside. I guess I would turn it upside down but if I can buy s...

Work Stand - Tern Bikes

Hi Guys, Looking for recommendations on the best work stand for a Tern, I currently have a stand but alas the mouth of the grip dose not open wide enough to accommodate the tube frame of a Tern, the frame is about 10cm and the maximum my current stand can take is 5cm. Also I'm not looking to spend t...

Re: Changing Gear system on Folding bike

I have been on the bike before in fact I've spent an entire weekend riding it and I just do not like grip shifts never have and never will its just one of those things. As for a second bike I have a whole fleet of them if I need, although do need to put some electrical tape on them in key areas

Re: Changing Gear system on Folding bike

It is an interesting point you raise Brucey and one I spent about an hour on the phone to Evans discussing, I certainly have no intentions of getting rid of the bike any time soon, its just there a few things that I would like in an ideal world to change to make it more suitable to me. For instance ...

Re: Schwalbe Marathon or Marathon Plus

I've been told to go for the plus with a Tern and that is currently what is fitted to it now, they just need replacing as they are starting to go bald, but I'm no expert I'm just going by what the experts have told me
