I'd like to take the bundle of four please. Would you mind dropping me a message with your preferred payment details when you get chance please? Just back from a night shift so will be sleeping for a while!
Thanks

Ah that's a shame; I knew things were bad but I hadn't realised they were gone completely now. Thanks for update and especially for the shoe fit info above - priceless stuff! Just in case these don't find a new home and you have to go back to the returns process. Fingers crossed that won't be necessary!

Sadly they'll become another Sports Direct discount acquisition (the site 'holding page' is liking to EvansCycles now), which means I'll never be shopping from them again.

Re: DT Swiss Disc Brake Wheelset
I can only find these listed as rims rather than a wheelset; do you know what hubs they are built onto please (or point me at the set if I've missed them)? Also it looks from the little photo tabs like they might be centrelock?
Cheers!

Re: Retro mavic wheelset on hope hubs
Why would I like to know what they are and what size they are (and therefore what bikes they fit)? Really?NPLUSONE wrote:Why do you want to know if these are 700c and what the rims are???
Are you for real ???
The majority of those hubs were used in 26" mountainbike wheels, those look like 700c but it's easy to be mistaken from a photograph. Mavic made many rims; some I'd be interested in buying, some less so, are you keeping them a secret for some reason?! [emoji23]

Re: Retro mavic wheelset on hope hubs
I'm assuming these are 700c? What rims are they please?
Also I'd guess those hubs are '91-93 and strongly suggest giving them a really thorough check for cracked flanged (tiny hairlines where they press over the shell) as the majority suffered that way, sadly. Although if you're brave enough you can get a fair number of miles out of them before catastrophic failure! [emoji38]

Looks like it says 'RELEASE', so I'm guessing you're correct, very neat!rjb wrote:What's the name engraved t the top of the lever. ?
Does the hinged logo rotate to allow the brake to release more cable. ie. A quick release function.

Wooly Hat Shop have been the go-to discount place for literally decades, no issues there [emoji41][emoji108] Also worth checking the quantity feedback on eBay for some indication of the reputability (if that's a word! [emoji38]) - knocking on half a million in this case!roubaixtuesday wrote:Very much appreciated, thank you so much.slowster wrote: ↑26 Oct 2022, 3:11pm Woolly Hat Shop/Bikeparts.co.uk apparently have them in stock. I'm always a bit cagey about random ebay suppliers I've never heard of from a counterfeit perspective - any idea if this is reputable?

I've used - and enjoyed - 9sp Mirage with no issues, although the finish isn't the best, not bad, just mediocre.GideonReade wrote:Thanks.
A slight aside - looking online, few mention Mirage. That may be bad news?
