Re: Return of the WIMPS
Love this post by Puffin! It did make me chuckle. On my last day of Wimps lejog I made a promise to myself that this challenge was completed, I was an End to Ender so I would NEVER try and do it again.....but 3+ years later the painful bits are forgotten....and again I am riding it!

Re: Return of the WIMPS
The OP posted it just to let people know that the Wimps are doing a ride...nothing more, nothing less.
You posted that it is a bit premature....I disagree! God willing the ones that have said they want to do it will do it. You talk about the age thing which I find strange...as let's be honest a youngster starting next week could be dead by then!

Re: Return of the WIMPS
Strange question......Mick F helped us with planning and rode part of a stage with us but he was never one of the Wimps, he was a guest rider ( and a very welcome one....a lovely fella) with us

Return of the WIMPS
Back in 2018 you may remember that the WIMPS rode lejog. In fact the link carried forwards over 130 pages...possibly one of the longest threads ever to feature on here.
Well, good news....they are back! A few of the original WIMPS are riding a Jogle in 2022. Keep an eye on here and we will post info for you to follow us....in case you missed us last time

Re: crab hand
As Paulatic said hands and fingers pain may well be exacerbated by the gloves. I ditched mine after the first hour of each ride, and did shake out my wrists on a regular basis

Re: Which part of you hurts most on a LEJOG?
A good saddle (Brooks B17)and sudocrem helped me.....
I found the most painful part was my wrists and hands....every few miles I shuck them out.

You are right, it was Drummochter! As I mentioned on the ride, I will follow you.....you seem to know where we are with that Lezyne.
The Garmin boys lost out, so on your advice a Lezyne now sits on my bars

Re: Starting LeJog wimps route this Sept...
Be careful coming down from Schlodt summit, the path is good but one bridge may catch you out, a quick left bend!
