Re: Extinction Rebellion

There was a deer farm near Ribchester when I lived near there as a kid. Roe deer for the meat. Not exactly free range.

Re: Extinction Rebellion

Why does it bother you about someone buying rifles if legally held? Especially since it's easier to own cars and be more dangerous that way? Why does it bother you about someone buying rifles if legally held? I don't know why it bothers him but possibly because almost all the UK mass shootings, Hun...

Re: The right way to handle the Scotish Independance?

Funnily enough the rumoured Irish ancestry was via Teesside. Wonder if that was via Scotland too. Scotland is the only one of the 4 nations I don't know is in my ancestry. I'd like to collect all four in my ancestry. So far England, Ireland, Wales, Sweden, America, Germany and potentially France due...

Re: The right way to handle the Scotish Independance?

Do you not think they'd expand to fill in for any lost supply from Scotland? There's food growers already looking into increasing UK food production to cope with any Brexit issues. Supermarkets too looking into how to support the growth of UK food growers. I personally know of some very good potato ...

Re: Extinction Rebellion

So attacks on tube and trains are not supported by non-autonomous ER groups, so why not use media to make that more widely known? A letter or email to a sympathetic supporter when they accept that an action they don't agree with is done in their name doesn't make much sense to me. Considering attack...

Re: The right way to handle the Scotish Independance?

Thanks Mick, From your link We recommend buying your seed potatoes from certified suppliers because those sold in supermarkets for consumption can be a source of disease and pest. We would avoid buying them from online general retailers such as as Amazon or E-bay unless you know exactly who is supp...

Re: The right way to handle the Scotish Independance?

Tunnocks is very unhealthy even when compared to similar biscuits. Saturated fats in a wrapper! Nice though. How about a tartan beret with fake ginger hair? The first services we used to stop in on our way up to the highlands always had plenty of them. Surely if they're being sold there must be load...

Re: Kim Jong Un on horseback...

Possibly that visit but the photograph widely used had him posed, standing up next to a chest of drawers with two soft toys in a pose resembling dogs initiating a mating. Thanks Mercalia for that totally relevant modified bojo picture as the joker. Funny but let's be honest, he's more of a funny clo...

Re: Kim Jong Un on horseback...

Anyone remember that photograph of him in an orphanage and behind him someone had put some cuddly toys in a suggestive position just behind him and to one side? Some brave individual's defiance?

Personally you don't need props to make him look bad. Like trump he just does it all by himself.

Re: Kim Jong Un on horseback...

That's a hefty horse. Verging on a heavy perhaps? Obviously chosen to make the l'il dictator look smaller on the photographs perhaps? Very Putinesque! Next he'll be bear wrestling and fishing bare chested catching a new world record sized fish with just his hands while looking ripped! Dictators play...

So nothing to do with the creation of Scottish border where it is then.
