Re: Uploading GPX files to Garmin Connect

Thanks MGate but...when I click to "upload", it keeps saying "undefined" and wont import.

I know the GPX files to be genuine as they're a route a mate put together and has sent over.

Any ideas? Much appreciated.

Re: Uploading GPX files to Garmin Connect

It seems to be any form of GPX that struggles, whether those sent by mates who have created courses, Wiggle rides, a charity ride last Summer etc.

Just need to find a way to import into Garmin Connect so that I can manipulate it - rather than load it directly onto the Edge unit.

Uploading GPX files to Garmin Connect

Hi there

Does anyone have any tips for uploading a GPX file into Garmin Connect as a course, which I can then manipulate etc?

I know how to put the GPX file straight onto the Edge 800 unit by cutting and pasting the GPX into "new files" folder but this doesnt seem to include the topography/gradient map, which would be really useful to have for longer rides - so if anyone has any tips for this as well, I'd be really grateful!!

My thinking is that being able to import a GPX file into Garmin Connect, I can then manipulate it slightly and send the course to the Edge unit with all topography included!

Any help very welcome!

Thanks, mat
