Re: Genesis Longitude

Most 27.5+ frames can run standard 29" wheels due to the ID being similar, perhaps a second set of wheels?

Re: Rohloff leak

Seem like I'll be ok for a while then, it was a fair amount of oil. It first happened in the really hot weather so I assumed it was pressure change but had continued, I think after my exmoor trip I will replace the shift box seals and see if it cures it. Although the hub might be fine it's killed a ...

Rohloff leak

My rohloff hub appears to be leaking a little oil, it seems to be coming from the external shift box rather than the seal, any clues and is it a diy job? I'm planning a trip to exmoor soon so how much oil can I loose and still be safe riding it. If it needs to go back to Germany hopefully I can wait...

Re: Reinventing the wheel - Cannondale AI

Is all of this really needed? My ecr has 3" tires and plenty of clearance due to the chainstay yoke, the new tumbleweed prospector takes it even further and can run 26x3.8 fatbike tires using a 135mm hub and good old fashioned bb size. I can see some merit in through axels but personally I feel...

Mike hall

Not sure if this has been posted here but sadly British ultra endurance rider Mike hall was killed today while competing in the Indian-Pacific wheel race, a great loss to British cycling A crowd funding page has been set up to help his family in these difficult times https://www.justgiving.com/crowd...

Bagman support

I really need a Carradice Bagman 2, the one with the support struts but sadly they are discontinued. So failing that can anyone suggest some clamp on struts. My ecr has rack mounts so I just need a way of connecting them to the bagman.

Re: SP Dyno Hubs Service Options from UK Distributor

You could try here http://www.nabendynamo.de/english/  Seriously though, I done with this hub, although mine gave reasonable service before the bearings died and was a reasonable cost to repair the son is better value long term

Re: The Ridgeway (Western Section)

I rode a section of it on the dummy fully loaded last year, some of the ruts were deeper than bb height. A good tip is to carry on to the Barge inn at honeystreet after avebury, good camp site and cracking pub. I'm planning to ride it end to end in the spring on the ecr, give me a shout if you want ...
