I am from Summerland just out of Pentiction. Sorry to have missed you, when you were on tour. I I’m not on warm showers but I frequently host touring cyclists and would have been happy to have you. I have read your comments on the rail trail conditions and couldn’t agree more. My question is, can I ...

Apparently some portions of both cycle routes are on a busy roadways with no shoulder. I am trying to determine how to best avoi...

Then I will turn west at Niedeaula and ride along the D4 also known as the Millelland Route to Bonn. Can anyone comment on the D4, would 32 mm tir...

Re: Camping/tenting in France

The single French campsite had a general untidyness about it. The grass in the camping pitch was to long. The washrooms were in need of a good cleaning. There was no hot water in the paid shower, no wifi, no on site attendent. Each site had an electric outlet but only some of the worked. There was n...

Camping/tenting in France

I toured in Holland and Germany last year and spent one night in France. The French municipal camp site was by far the worst of the campsites we stayed at. Was this just a one off or are French municipal campsites known for poor amenities and services. Anyone who has information on campsite comparis...

Myself and three other riders will be touring the Euro Velo 15, Rhine Route from Andermatt to Rotterdam for three weeks starting in late July. If you have done this route and can recommend some of your not to be missed experiences, it would be appreciated. The hidden gems of your trip, items not in ...

Riding Amsterdam to Stockholm

I am riding from Amsterdam to Stockholm in August, this will be my first trip to Europe. Part of my plan is to ride the EV03 Pilgim Route through Germany and Denmark and then catch the ferry from Frederikshavn to Gothenburg in Sweden.
