Re: Here's a puzzle for you...

A good way to test it would be a ship painted in a non reflective paint, I don't mean matt black I mean like a special paint that gives off zero light. That would be a good way of doing it but, unlikely to happen. If the object cannot have light shine off it, you could rule refraction out and do th...

Re: Here's a puzzle for you...

when you kept it in the one thread I did nt see the problem either - that was the power crazy mod's doing...

Again, we answered your questions on lighthouses many times. The response was basically "I'm not good enough at maths to understand it"

Re: Here's a puzzle for you...

I got banned on BR when I started bringing this up and I expect the same to happen here. Why should you expect to be banned from here? I'm not a Mod, but as I understand it people only get banned for spamming or for persistent violation of the forum rules. Persistently putting across your world vie...

Re: Here's a puzzle for you...

Sorry, what does that say about the Sun? If you go listen to Eric Dollard's videos like I did, you'll know for yourself. Its probably best not to rely on my second hand information, although I have only repeated exactly what he claims. The video where he is sat in a car (where there were 12 parts t...

Re: Loire a Velo: biking bigger cities?

Angers is a real gem! IMO the experience of cycling on French roads is sublime compared to UK roads. However what I have found really difficult is getting out on the right road (probably easier on a signposted path though). My tactic now is just to get the hell out in vaguely the right direction. On...

Re: Here's a puzzle for you...

Do we think he's a black or white nutter? I mean like does he really believe the nonsense or does he know it's nonsense and gets some strange pleasure out of posting it? If he really believes it I'm starting to think we might be hurting him by enabling it...which is not really cool... @Pete, if your...

Re: Here's a puzzle for you...

Because there are well meaning people who will waste time trying to explain to you why you are wrong. It is only fair to warn them that you, despite your protestations, are so close minded that you are not interested in the truth Care to answer any of the questions we have asked you? We ve answered ...

Re: Here's a puzzle for you...

I ve told you - you interest me (ProRace is a good way of accumulating posts by the way)

Surely all you can observe there is that a brick is hard and a sponge is soft? Not that they have different densities? Personally I don't believe in scales - you cant OBSERVE weight/mass so it could be anything!

Re: Here's a puzzle for you...

Prove that the object has a different density would you? I can't see it with my own eyes you see

I'd also quite like a photo of that ice wall

Will you also answer the question I asked on BR, which is at what point does your disbelief in genuine knowledge/science stop/start?

Re: Here's a puzzle for you...

for everyone else's information we did answer the lighthouse question - he did nt like it becasue the maths was a bit hard (optics being one of the most mathematically complex bits of physics) No one answered it. I actually asked for an answer after you'd been kicked off - I can't be any clearer - ...
