There is no appetite in Wales for going it alone. Plaid don't talk about it much because they know it turns prospective voters off. A friend of mine used to say the whisky method is the best for the midges ......... drink enough of it and you won't feel them :D but seriously though all my tours in Scotland have always been done in early may or september , to avoid the midges .

Its the wife's birthday next week , I never know what to get her but luckily for me she's mentioned she would like something black and lacey , so I'm off to get her some Doc Martins ! :D
