The two mentioned are my old Dawas galaxy which i use as a do it all ,commuter , tourer , day rides bike . The mountianbike is a old stumpjumper fitted with a rack so can use for the short run to the shops or equally happy off road .

From cycling perspective winter is worse . But i am also a hill walker and in that respect I much prefer winter in the hills ! :D

The Last Hillwalker and Bothy Tales by John D Barnes really entertaining ,sometimes moving sometimes very funny . Will appeal to anybody who enjoys the hills . ( Especially people in there 40's and 50's )
