Re: Does anyone know ..Halfords October 10% Discounf voucher code ?

At the risk of sounding stupid, ... You don't. At the time of javatime's last post on this thread he was also unable to view the code. I do not know if he has subsequently resolved the problem. If you are logged on to the Cycling UK website (not the Cycling UK forum), have cleared your browser cach...

I'm planning on a commute from Newhaven in East Sussex to Banstead Surrey, which site would you use to plan the route?

Re: Carry ID

Using http://cycle.travel/map I noticed that when you plan a route it keeps you off main roads which is great, but takes you over mixed terrain, can you select it to only use roads suitable for road bikes?

Re: Dieppe

Thank you everyone the Avenue Verte and to Rouen sound amazing and I love the cycle.travel site to help plan a route. Maybe one day I'll be able to go for a few days but for now a dash across the channel for a day trip will have to do, can't wait as planning for a trip one day in the summer next year

Re: Dieppe

I guess I should add that I'd like to ride on roads suitable for road bikes and which I can do in a day, just for a day trip :)

Dieppe

I quite fancy a trip across the Channel for a ride in France, starting at Dieppe as that is the easiest destination for me to get to, can anyone recommend any nice routes to take?

Re: Upset car driver?

Just out of interest, was it the same driver right at the end of the video pulling out of the side road just before you turn right? Looks to be the same car It was the same car, I was wondering if I was in line for a punishment pass! but maybe not! And you are correct it is the A259 road from Newha...

Re: Sunrise, sunset...

I didn't know about us needing to light up 30 mins before, useful to know although I always have my rear lights on and front lights in the dark or just before

Re: Upset car driver?

the funny thing is that because a road is 40 mph doesn't mean you can go that speed, just thought of that

Re: Upset car driver?

I just find it incredible that people behave this way? Would they do behave like that to one of their loved ones?? I guess most likely, but you'd like to think not, its easy just to sit back and wait for a suitable moment to pass and you'll soon catch up with the traffic again or red light? I guess ...
