Re: Importing from Belgium

I have not had anything from Belgium, but had a bike and velomobile from the Netherlands and items from Germany and the price for shipping/VAT has been paid at the point of ordering. Nothing more had to be paid upon delivery. Even with the Velomobile, in an enormous box, that was passed on to a loca...

Re: Alternative to the bicycle bell

If only..As kids we would use playing cards held in with clothes pegs. A missed business opportunity. That reminds me of also fitting a board to an old roller skate

Re: ICE workstand - How do you service yours?

Here is a picture of it. I use straps on the front two points when I take the wheels off. The trike tips over if one wheel is off at the front. IMG_0532.JPG What size fittings are those (the T pieces for support) Looking yesterday the fittings I could find weren't quite big enough (I didn't think) ...

I just kept within/on the 30 limit with help from gravity. For a change the roundabout was clear so I could carry on at speed to get up the short hill.

Stopped by the police in the Mango velo

It had to happen at some time. Sunday I was out for a short ride and cruising down a hill and up the next hill, in town. When the blue lights and flashing headlights of a marked police car appeared in my mirrors. I pulled over. The female officer was pleasant enough. She wondered why I didn`t have a...

Re: ICE workstand - How do you service yours?

Mine is self made out of humble 2inch plastic pipe. It spends its unused time down the side of the house. Same basic configuration? I'm intending to build in wood... It is basically 3 verticals supporting the trike. Linked together to provide a floor stand. It puts the trike up about 4ft off the gr...

Re: ICE HQ

I was down at ICE a few years ago. Camping across the bay in St Mawes. Had a wonderful reception from all at ICE. They could not be more welcoming. Had my first taste of a velomobile with a ride in the Borealis they had. It was when they were developing the front suspension system. They allowed me t...

Re: Recumbent tailbox

When I got my tailbox the initial contact was through ebay, thereon their email. That was 2yrs ago. No problem. Must admit I was very disappointed early last year, sent him a ...
