Re: Prescription Sunglasses

The Oakely if done properly, will be better than the Optilab glasses. Better in fairly small ways, around the design and finish of the product, much of that being in the frame. Whether its worth the substantially higher price is another matter which only individuals can answer. I have a set of Oakl...

Re: Ti Build started...

The reason I'm asking is I'm torn between a very light use Lightspeed and your frame. My current disc bike is 28lbs and I'd really like to put one together under 20 as I spend a lot of time lugging it on and off trains and into inaccessible bike racks! 28lbs!!!! That’s Full suss MTB territory :shoc...

Not that fussed TBH.If it weighs somewhere between my Canyon Ultimate CF SL and my Boardman CX Comp I'll be happy.
I should think 16lbs shouldn't be too difficult to achieve with Carbon wheels.

Re: Remembering the Fallen.

I've never bought/worn a Poppy.Personal choice. My daughter usually wears two,one red,one white. She has had a few comments but she's usually a lot smarter than the ones commenting and puts them in their place. This year she wore three, red, white and purple. She's quite idealistic.Life will knock that ...

Re: Flying.. why? why not?

My Insignia 2.0 Diesel does sub 30mpg just nipping to work etc.I doubt it would do much more than 35mpg on a run.It might Squeeze 40mpg on a run if I tickled it and drove at 60mph. That's incredibly poor. My 2013 C220 CDi Mercedes estate does 58mpg on a motorway (real figures, not paper), long term...

Re: Ti Build started...

I used brown and brown on my Ti bike. Not a very good look . A bit dull. Bight works well I reckon. I’m not keen on bright.Plenty of that on my riding kit. It already has black and silver. Just continue with that. Black Cambium with silver rails. Anything else with either black or silver. Easy. I u...

Re: Phillip Schofield announcement

I know nothing about the man,and I can understand him trying to live a straight life before admitting to himself and his wife and family that he's GAY,I've no problem with that. That said, what sticks in my craw is him 'announcing to the world' his sexual orientation on day time TV and making a lite...

Re: Jihadi Brides and their Children.

Because Begum was born here does not mean she has the right to remain. Exactly. She chose her path and now she has to deal with it. This whole thing is an obvious political stunt; HMG know very well they will ultimately lose and are fighting the case purely to appear tough to their voter base. That ...
