Re: Fair exchange?

That's a disgrace. I hope this driver was identified and dealt with by the police.

Nice link, thanks. I think there is still more to that though.

Re: Men's euphemism & saddle issues

Maybe not, if you listen to the female urologist that I have to see now and again. I'm not going to pretend that I fully understand what she tried to explain to me, but the long and the short of it was that putting pressure right in the centre of the old undercarriage can be the cause of a number of...

Re: the rise and rise of cyclists' socks

I think it would have taken a lot more than that to take the shine off watching the British cycling team at this years Olympics, fantastic. You're obviously a bit of a traditionalist, which is to be admired, but this is just a fashion thing and to be honest, the bottom picture just clarifies exactly...

Re: Unused bikes

Is the answer n-1? Perhaps do a trial in a small town somewhere, hold a bike collection day, where any unwanted bikes will be collected for free, not sure what to do with them then though, service them all and give them to charity, sell them on ebay and split proceeds with the donator, distribute t...

I know not everyone wants to read about such things, but I think it's important for us all to know what's happening out there.

Stay safe.

Jeremny goes up a bit in my estimation. I think he handled it pretty well.

Re: Abuse from motorists

Quite right too. I would say that my experiences are mixed. I've had the very odd horn blasted for no apparent reason, and the odd passenger shouting out exactly what they thought about me being there, despite there being no reason as the road was wide enough for them to pass without incident. I do ...
