Re: Birmingham Road Cycling routes

Hi all, I'll be in Birmingham shortly for a few days and will be taking the kids and bikes. Not looking for huge routes - just something in the order of 20-30 miles nothing too ...

Re: Keto Diet and Cycling Fitness

It works for all IMHO if you use it as a base. I'm not sure what you mean by a base? That sounds more like fat adaptation than ketotis https://blog.virtahealth.com/fat-adapted/ Also, without getting into a fight about it :? That it doesn't work for all is clearly evidenced by the research. Well to ...

I've al...

I have heard some real bad stories about that but it is an ‘event’ that like Ride London many thousands feel they have to do ... meanwhile I pump out 200km a week simply on my commute

Re: cycliing and ageing

It's not getting old that makes you give up - it's giving up that makes you old! My own intention is to continue my thrusting, of every kind, in a vigorous manner for as long as possible and even when it's not! It is a sad thing to see 40 and 50 year-olds who look like bits of a fatberg or old tedd...
