Can I replace an old pair of British thread standard Stronglight Cups with the link below. See jpeg image of old cup type.
I have tried to source some new old stock Stronlights cups but have not been successful.
If anyone has surplus Stronglight (even TA) cups I would be interested.

Stronglight Bottom Bracket Cup Stuck
Is there a special tool to remove the adjustable cup ?
Normal peg spanners like
https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/tools/park- ... h/?geoc=US
the pegs distance is slightly too large to fit the cup.
Does anybody know a decent bike shop in Hampshire or Berkshire that can assist?
The LH cup is fine, just the drive RH side which is an issue.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Recommended Cantilever Brakes
What would you recommend as replacement cantilever brakes.
Are Tektro CR720 Cyclocross Cantilever Brakes any good?
My old ones (cheap Shimano) need replacing and are 20 years old.
Thanks

PlanetX - customer service
Purchase a saddle bag straps not enclosed. Despite several Emails and 8 days later. Still not resolved.
Mistakingly bought something else a few days ago, (product was the wrong one). Still waiting to resolve this too.
Have bought items from them previously, something going wrong with this business.

Freewheel Recommendations
I am looking to buy a new freewheel 14 to 28 six speed. I have an old non-indexed system on a 30 year old Mercian.
Any thoughts?
Some sellers are saying Shimano Singapore are superior than the general China made types ?

Choices? New Chainset from Spa Cycles
What is the difference between a Spa cycles own RD-2 and a TD-2 chainset ?
How would these Spa's compare to a Stronglight Impact.
What would your choice be.
New chainset would be mounted on an old Mercian bike some 30 year old.
Thanks in advance.

Mavic SSC Quill Pedals Servicing Problem
I have just dug out my new old stock Mavic pedals which have been in storage for years.
The pedals have removable cages via allen bolts.
I have just discovered the left pedal has a right cage on it rather than a left and is therefore upside down!
Doe any one have a spare left cage or know whereabouts of old stock !!
Failing that, any other recommendations of stealing a cage from modern pedals?

Carradice Problem
I have emailed Carradice a few times to enquire how to return a defective product.
I am getting zero response. Any thoughts?
I believed this company was high on customer support.
For info, mounting holes on a zipped bag are at an incorrect distance apart and do not fit a bagman quick release adapter zip ties!
