This junction has been terrible since it was built(with zero provision for cyclists). what is required is a complete re-design and rebuild(it will cost a lot). While they are at it , should design in a superhighway connection to the (due to arrive 2019) E-W Edinburgh version of a cycle superhighway ...

Edinburgh still has gates for trains starting/leaving westbound(or at least did 3 weeks ago). There have never been gates for through trains, or trains to North Berwick or Tweedbank

CUK HQ have confirmed that voting for anything other than 4 candidates renders the votes void - so i either have to vote for candidates that i remain unconvinced are suitable or withhold my votes from the one definite and second possible candidates that i wish to endorse. Or i dont vote- so no say O...

Hi, I applied- and got a 'phone call to say i was not selected- usual bland rejection - large field, lots of good candidates, but when asked for specific points all i got was 8 candidates for 3 posts(so presumeably one being held back for a compliant yes-person?

Every year is a "bad year" for midges in Scotland. It is a bit like saying "Scotland is so lovely and green...but it seems to rain all the time!" (it does, usually , rain a lot)- but there are good times in between!
