Re: Pictures of your bike(s)

Re: Yet another reason to avoid carbon frames

Re: One for all bike.

It's a Tubus Logo (29er) at the back and a Tubus Tara (Big Apple) at the front.

Re: Bike Sales

Are there not 'top ten selling cars' lists'? I don't drive so I never look at things like that.

Re: One for all bike.

I have only one bike: a Genesis Longitude. It’s all I need. Transport, touring, shopping or off-road, it does them all. I don’t do, and have never done sport, so no need for one of them. The only reason for me to have a second bike would be if my Longitude had a major mechanical, or was stolen or da...

Re: Bike Sales

I don't intend to buy any of these bikes, although I have a Longitude; I was just curious.

Bike Sales

Are there any lists published of bikes sold? Did the Carrera Subway sell more than the Pinnacle Lithium? Does the Thorn Nomad sell more than the Surly Long Haul Trucker? Did the Salsa Vaya sell more than the Santos Travelmaster? How many Genesis Longitudes were sold? Does Cannondale sell more bikes ...

Re: Genesis Longitude sizing

I'm 5'11" and I have a large 2015 Longitude but it has a short stem and butterflies which brings the grips back to the stem cap. It's the comfiest bike I've ever had. This is me on it.

US laws

The pro-motorist/anti cycling laws are even worse in the US than here.
The guy was nearly killed and she got away with no charge as it was an 'accident'.

Bad News : implied blame in news reporting

Why is it, in news reports, a pedestrian is always hit by a car and never a motorist but if it’s a bike, it’s always a cyclist and never a bike?
