Re: YHA prices: steep increase in the pipeline!

Really? Due to my work, I spend around eighty nights every year in hotels and guesthouses. I will eat out less than we do when we are camping, or cycle touring. You can eat well without cooking! (Frequently carry cooking gear and can tell you there is somewhere nice to set up within five minutes wal...

Tourists tend to gravitate towards places they can mill about touristy attractions. If you want peace and quiet, head away from known places. There are now many hundred...

You don't need the card used with EasyJet, and you can use your driving license. 100%.

We book flights for dozens of people every month. Easyjet are very accommodating, just don't be late! Even though your flight may well be delayed more often than not these days!

Re: Can I fly Inverness to Bristol without a passport?

Why on earth would a flight within the UK require a passport post Brexit? Edit.. I think I got a little confused there, are you saying they are flying to and from Spain without passports presently? That goes for all EU citizens more or less. I doubt Brexit will then require passports instead, as lon...

Re: Inverness and North

You could cut back to the Struie after the Cromarty crossing, the roads on the alternative route via Muir of Ord are quite busy. Plus, you could stop at Chanonry Point on the Black Isle to do some dolphin watching! The road from Dounreay to Scrabster is being used to shift nuclear waste. There is a ...
