Re: killing parts!

I have seen better wheels in a museum ! when as this wheel last cleaned ? ..................looks like it was knackered before it rusted out the nipple - looking at the braking surface - or lack of. Re: The psychology behind using a turbo trainer

Its also a great thing to have for those really bad weather days too. I have a TACX ...

Re: ...why women's' cycling clothing is still mainly pink?

I imagine pink rather than say brown complements the shade of lipstick chosen. Also given how commonly pink is worn it means a cycle top etc will complement other parts of wardrobe.Grey and pink go well and you see many women with grey hair-especially when Covid took a grip. I somehow don't think th...

Re: When the police give an assaulted cyclist a warning

I am basing my opinions on English law ;- Having viewed the footage several times I have to come to the conclusion that the cyclist , in my opinion, over reacted to the presence of the black vehicle . He should not have ''slapped the bonnet '' and immediately launch into a tirade of abusive language...

Re: Ebikes and fitness

As for Holland no desire to visit-rather visit somewhere more interesting and more undulating. There are some quite hilly bits of Holland (more so than Denmark), but I agree not the most exciting. I couldn't seen the hills on Open Cycle Map; the contours were complete obliterated by the overwhelmin...

Re: Ebikes and fitness

I have a garage chocked full of all types of cycles...From my latest Trek Madone ( dont tell the wife ive got that ) to a 5 yr old Bosch equipped Ebike (MTB). We use our ebikes as general transport on holidays. My wife has a heart condition but can get exercise on her ebike. Together we do about 30-...

Re: Raleigh Documentary on BBC 4 Tonight (5/10)

Forgot to record the program so going to try and find it on iplayer....
