Thanks for the info.
I have contacted various SRAM stockists to no avail. When they discontinued their hub range the spares seemed to have dried up pretty quickly!
I’ll try the contact you suggest.
Thank you.

SRAM Dual Drive 3x9 parts
Anyone out there got any parts for a Dual Drive hub equipped Moulton? I’m looking for a ‘click box’ and ‘actuator rod’ in particular, but spare, working, trigger shifters would be good to future proof the bike. I think the parts are the same as the ones on other bikes with Dual Drive....Dahon, Airni...

Re: Suitable towbar bike carrier for electric bike?
Just a thought but I had a Honda Jazz..2011 model if I remember correctly and I always managed to get two full sized bikes in the back, front wheels off, with ease! Obviously, rear seats were down but with the bikes clamped into a standing position, rear wheel to the tailgate, there was still lots o...

Re: Upgrade a Brommie seatpost clamp.
I have fitted the one that Brucey has flagged.
Works a treat!
You can set it to lock or not....Clever.
Also, Spa sell this......never tried it but I’m sure it works and seriously cheap!!!

Re: Are bikes as good as they were?
Late to the party but back in 1980 I splashed out close on £200 for a Claud Butler specially built for Evans when they were only at The Cut near Waterloo. Basically a Majestic with Campag hubs and Suntour gears. Still got it though much upgraded. We also bought a Majestique, from Beta Bikes in West ...

Re: hard case for a kindle
I have a kindle paper white. The official case for that has a pretty solid front flap that also turns the device on and off when opening/closing. Sturdy without being clunky!

Re: Hybrid cars big enough to take a bike
The problem with hatchbacks is the sloping roof line and useable internal space with the back seats down. Plenty of width and length but not enough height so unless you're happy with bikes laying flat down and stacked then choice is limited. If you're happy to remove both wheels and lower or remove ...

Re: Hybrid cars big enough to take a bike
Fair enough....I looked it up and it is not a cvt (although described by Toyota as an eCVT system). It was definitely more sophisticated than the Honda but didn't really cut it as a vehicle for load carrying, particularly bikes. We did stick them on a roof rack on the Prius but no amount of sophisti...

Re: Hybrid cars big enough to take a bike
Basically it is a step less cvt design. Probably okay day to day in flattish parts of the country but in hilly West Yorkshire it struggled when going uphill trying to maintain even a modest speed. There was a 'sport mode' which allowed up and down shift points using finger paddles behind the steerin...

Re: Hybrid cars big enough to take a bike
Just found this pic which gives a good idea of space available. The hybrid battery is in the spare wheel well under the floor but there's enough space for a space saver spare or you can rely on the roadside repair kit that comes with car.....some kind of sealant as a get you to a garage fix. https:/...

Re: Hybrid cars big enough to take a bike
Hi, If you can get hold of a Honda Jazz hybrid you can get two full sized bikes in with front wheels off when the rear seats are folded flat. The bikes will go in upright and pointing forwards, at either side of the space, leaving loads of luggage room between them too. You'll have to settle for a se...

Have you seen these?

Think they look better than the jubilee clip version though they may not be suitable?? Cheap enough though.

Riser Bars same as Thorns
I have posted a message in the wanted section for these: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/thorn-mk2-comfort-handlebars-254mm-clamp-silver-prod10231/ I wonder if anyone knows of a similar product with a decent rise (60mm) and wide grip areas for trimming? It will be for changing the bars on my Brompton. An...

Re: motorised bicycle
Not sure whether legal in the UK but you can buy a bolt on unit here!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/33cc-friction ... 0678060969
I remember seeing a few friction drive cycles years ago in France but the unit was over the front wheel driving the front tyre.
