Re: Did you attend the CTC AGM 2020?

I had intended to join the virtual AGM and had registered to do so. It was my intention to vote against the changes in fees, and to ask a question in respect of the management of complaints.

I then reviewed my dealings with the organisation over the years and decided to abandon it and it’s appalling management. CUK is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with, it is poor at communicating, is inconsistent, lacks any quality control, and offers little benefit to its rank and file members, most of whom only benefit from insurance and legal support (the latter of which is much less valuable as “no won no fee” has diluted its effectiveness)

I will not be renewing so good bye CUK

Re: Pannier Advice

Ortlieb Back Rollers would be my choice. I have used them for over 6 years, tough and waterproof with good easy to use fixing system. Tent carried in an Ortlieb Rack Bag. "Necessaries" such as camera, wallet etc etc kept in an Ortlieb Bar Bag

Is it just us, or do other groups find it difficult to get responses?

Our cycling club has over 250 members, all of whom have some form of CUK membership.

We've been trying to resolve a matter of real importance for several weeks. If it can be resolved it will bring benefits to our club and CUK itself.

Managers at CUK don't reply to emails, or voice mails. If they do we seem to get conflicting opinions.

To try to resolve the matter we've written to the CEO, and asked for a meeting. This has had no effect.

Do other clubs have similar problems?
