Found this company on the web looking for a polished silver 1" quill stem,also bought a set of Nitto bars.Ordered Sunday evening at 7,parts arrived 10am Tuesday morning ,along with a note thanking me for the order ,great service .

Hi Orrett,The picture on the left was taken after a respray at Mercian,then all the parts were original apart from the esge gold mudguards.I`ve since changed to indexed gears and Shimano dual pivot brakes,the weinman center pull were never much good.I`ve also changed from Weinman concave rim`s to Ma...

Don`t know to be honest,but thanks anyway.Could do with finding someone who worked at Raleigh at that time.I live at Newark,just twenty miles from Nottingham but finding any body who worked there is not easy.

That`s right.I was really only interested to find out what year the bike was built.The Worksop bit i picked up from the Raleigh bikes forum,the year given was 1974,although that seems about ten years too early! :)
