Create new Forum thread

Hi, is it possible for me to create a new discussion board on the Forum? Not getting much response to my thread on Assemble regarding the Gravel/Road Thames Source to Sea alternative route. Maybe people are still using the Forum for this? Many thanks, MarkH

Re: Seat post stuck in 1984 Colnago steel seat tube

I have tried most of the methods described in rjb's kind response and none of them have worked, including the PlusGas that was eventually appropriated by some builders who were renovating my house and had an attachment stuck on their JCB. It worked for the JCB but not my Colnago  Perhaps I am ...

Seat post stuck in 1984 Colnago steel seat tube

I have had this gorgeous bike for a while but have never been able to budge the seat post. I have tried all reasonable recommended measures and I think the previous owner might have had a half-hearted go at it with a blow torch with minor discolouration of the paint work. Re: 11-speed cassette/freehub compatibility Campy vs Shimano

I removed my 11-speed Shimano Fulcrum and replaced it with the Athena equipped Zonda. It saved me several years' Cycling UK subscription righ...

Re: 11-speed cassette/freehub compatibility Campy vs Shimano

Many thanks for all the great advice. As my Zonda wheels on my broken frame are much nicer than the standard Fulcrums I will definitely give it a go and report back.

Re: 11-speed cassette/freehub compatibility Campy vs Shimano

Thank you Brucey, would there be any risk involved (apart from disappointment) in giving it a go?

11-speed cassette/freehub compatibility Campy vs Shimano

I have a Campag Zonda rear wheel with a Campag 11-speed cassette. Contributors to some forums reckon this will just work with a Shimano 11-speed groupset. Others say not and that it isn't just as simple as swapping the cassette as they have different freehubs, which are not a simple switch. I would ...
