Mountain bike to Road Bike to Mountain Bike

I started off about 2 years ago buying my first bicycle that was a Santa Cruz Highball CC Mountain Bike and rode that for about 18 months, until I got the bug to try my hands on a Road Bike. Back in December last year I bought a Trek Madone SLR7 and fell in love with that riding it about 3 times a w...

Re: Squeaky brakes

Tried the hot water and soap and it helped a lot but didn’t completely fix it.
I also cleaned the disc with nail polish remover. I will ride the bike for a week to see if it eventually goes away.

Re: How do you look behind with falling off your bike

I’ve been practicing by putting my left hand close to the middle of the bars and taking my right hand off and then turning my head. This is the easiest for me right now.

How do you look behind with falling off your bike

I’ve now been riding ~3 years. 2 1/2 of that on a mountain bike the last 6 months on a road bike. One thing I really struggle with is looking behind and not being able to stay in a straight line. I bought some TriEye glasses and like those but because I have a prescription in my glasses the TriEye j...

Re: Changing from 1st to 12th

We can't be too far away from the bike changing gears when you think about it. Just needs a Di3 insert surgically implanted behind your ear  I thought we had that already...........I have my Di2 programmed to drop three or up skirt three automatically when I go from large ring to small ring. Charging Di2

Guys
How often do you charge your Di2. When I look on the eTube app my battery shows full but when I plug it in to charge it the charging light will stay on for at least 30 minutes then go off.
I’m just wondering if there is a recommended in between charges time or miles??
Thanks

Okay, I’ve got a new pair of Shimano Road Bike Shoes coming and from what I can remember you put the shoes on without socks and get someone to feel for the bones illustrated below. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190205/804719e8bf17ef2192c8c8977bfce53a.jpg Once you got those positions what do you...

Re: Sore Back on the hills...... why

How do you know your core strength is good? Not to be rude but your pic looks to me like you've neglected upper body, including "waist", physical training. <snip> I think that’s a good idea. I will be able to swim in my own pool in about two weeks time...... renovation. I will also go and...
