Have someone put a couple of extra riv nuts in the down tube attach the base with 4 bolts on there and make up a strap which keeps it tight on the frame wrapping around the underside of the downtube .. It will then be secure no matter how bumpy it becomes and the machine will have a lower CofG.. will
Hay Will thanks for the reply. I now have 2 x 2 inch Velcro straps wrapped around it that hold it in place very securely, all of my riding is on tarmac so very smooth riding
