Re: Tires for 16" wheel e-bike
If it was me I'd do 16x1.75 normal marathon. For about £15 a tyre.

Re: Making a long 131 link chain or buying new
Thanks Simon.
I've got the answers I need now.
I'll stick with what I've done for now and then order a couple of those later.

Making a long 131 link chain or buying new
I've replaced my chain on a freego wren today.
It has a single 52t chainring with a 7 speed 14-34t freewheel.
The chain I removed was around 131 links and the 116 Clark's chain I bought was obviously too short.
Question 1.
Is it ok to make a longer chain by using two new chains with two quick links?
I've added about 15 links to make it the same length as the original. The quick links are quite a few inches apart from each other.
I actually presume this will be ok but not the best solution. It seems to work ok.
Question 2.
Any recommendations for a really long 7 speed shimano chain?
Buying two everytime I need to replace will be costly.
I've kept the new extra off cut length for future chain swaps to keep using 15 links from.
Thanks in advance. It was my first time doing a chain and was simple enough. I'll assume the original was so long because of the massive 52t chainring. Thankfully I bought two new chains as they were on offer.

I've got a used Raleigh stowaway 7 bought last year.
£100 buys it based in Doncaster.
Probably done 30 miles. Like new. It is dark grey.
