Re: Removing the core from Schwalbe Pro One
The bike was ready to ride when delivered, and I hadn't thought tubeless might come with tubes. In which case I guess I'd be under no major pressure to refresh the sealant...? This is all new to me! But I'll get to the bottom of it today. Many thanks.

Removing the core from Schwalbe Pro One
Hi, I've bought Stans valve core remover for easy sealant application, but have realised the valves on Schwalbe Pro One can't be removed this way. Unless I'm missing something, what's the easiest way to do this, without faffing around with the beads? I'm guessing my core removal tool is obsolete. Th...

C2C Challenge 2010
Hi all, A few friends and I are doing the C2C cycle on 17th and 18th July, but we're all coming from Lancaster way. A couple of us have registered already. I sent an email to the administrators of the event yesterday and haven't heard from them - may seem like I'm being impatient but now's a good ti...

Claud Butler Regent 2007 saddle
Hi all, I'm trying to ascertain which saddle is used on the Claud Butler Regent 2007. I have a spare one and I'm looking to sell it (along with the clamp) on eBay so I'd like to describe it as accurately as possible. I've a feeling it's a Claud Butler Comfort Tour Saddle, but can't pinpoint it exact...

Diabolical train fare increase for 2009
Has anyone noticed that train fares have increased dramatically for a long distance trip? I managed to get from Lancaster to Penzance last year for under £40 (can't remember the fare type), but this year I'm trying Lancaster to Plymouth, a shorter distance, and it will cost at least £130, regardless...

Swift train changeovers
Hi, A friend of mine doing the trip with me in 2 days is a little anxious that he only has 13 minutes to change trains with bike etc at Birmingham (12 platforms). Is there any way of knowing prior to the journey which platforms will take him where? I have a 9 minute changeover at Newton Abbot but no...

Thanks. I was at the train station yesterday and was advised to book tickets a little later to get them cheaper. Our trip begins 9 weeks on Saturday and I've been told by other people to book 12 weeks in advance when possible to a) be sure of reservations, and b) get cheaper tickets. I've checked on...
