Re: Waterproof paniers for Super Galaxy

Overboard do panniers now a little smaller than average but the bigger the bag the more you carry.

Re: Rebuilding a 70s road bike

Presuming you have the clearance to fit 700Cs you are going to have to change the brake calipers anyway as there will not be enough clearance to adjust the pads to fit from the 26" wheels. I would get some Tektro levers and calipers Presuming it is 7 speed or less, moving to 8 speed and onwards...

Re: Three Word Story Game (again)

Mobiles confiscated, they used alphabetie spaghetti to name and tie in knots the flags of convenience. Public Conveniences drove recklessly through Coventry, conveniently avoiding speaking to anyone, but inconveniencing PC Spendapenny who, as potty spotter for spotty potters, arrested Col. Mustard i...

Re: Handlebar bag views and costs

Personally not a bar bag fan, I do like the HAND-lebar thing but horses for courses. As an ex shop owner I struggle to recommend bar bags as I feel they just get in the [ . . . ] way. People do get on with them but mounts & cables present a awkward challenge. Rixen&Kaul/KlickFix mounts work ...

Re: Handlebar bag views and costs

Overboard still have a few of their fully waterproof handlebar bags available. If you want to access the bag on the fly it's not for you but possibly the most waterproof unless you're into MTB bog snorkelling

Have a look at Swisseye. While some of their frames have inserts others can be prescription ground.

Two seculas one for mudguard fitting and one for seatpost/seatstay fitting, it's always been a replacement for the Seculite and has more mounting options, B&M do a wealth of rack mounted dynamo lights.

Re: B&M Quality.

As above, I was until a year ago, a retailer and B&M was a consistent top 5 seller from the moment we first stocked it. Of the few returns we had the majority were Senso lights. Now this is no comment on any of the posters above, I know none of you and this short post reveals very little if anyt...

Re: B&M Quality.

The very first Ixons had a latch flaw which was dealt with with a redesign 7/8 years ago from memory. To the best of my knowledge B&M (as an ex retailer) were only two years as with all their products but I'll agree to differ. Usually outside the warranty period they will fix their products at a...

Re: B&M Quality.

You don't need to do your warranty with B&M direct just take them back to the retailer you got them from and they will sort warranty with the UK distributor

Senso problems? I presume you've taken them back to the retailer for warranty work?
