Help with a route finder UK

Hi, looking for circular off road routes around the uk , with some reviews , 20 to 50 miles. Nothing too extreme and preferably within 60 miles or so of Birmingham. Looked at a few different apps but unsure if they are worth subscribing to. Fed up with using an OS map and planning my own routes only...

Marin Mount Vision

Hi all, does anyone know the approximate value of my bike and if I would get more in bits ? Marin Mount Vision circa 2002 , will dig paperwork out as I purchased new. Very light use and dry stored for many years. Top spec in its day, today’s equivalent is over £4K , I understand it’s going to be a s...

Re: Dawes Galaxy 2000-2009

I had a birthday gift of a new (Old stock) super galaxy in 2005 I was informed it was from the last batch produced in the UK circa 2002 but have no evidence to prove this.

Re: Advise on Garmin or similar

I don’t have a computer and don’t want one hence one issue I had to overcome.
I just need to find the best sites to download good routes , off road mainly. Looked at Strava but wasn’t able to see a lot without subscription.

Re: Advise on Garmin or similar

Update, phone left on drains the battery quicker than the wife empties my wallet, screen set to off after 1min means I have to keep stopping, may as well read a paper map ! Phone also freezes at times and was a bugger to download the route to. Decided to go with a dedicated sat nav and put my learni...

Re: Advise on Garmin or similar

Advise on Garmin or similar

I am cycling a lot more now both on and off road. Interested in getting a navigation device but not too good at technology, had an e-trek for walking about 10years ago and never figured out how to use it ! Can anyone recommend a reliable, simple unit that won’t blow the bank ? My phone is out as tri...
