Hi all,
Does anyone have a recent Giant Escape 2 Disc or Giant Escape 1 Disc?
I live out in the sticks and none of my local shops have them in stock. Does anyone have one and can weigh it for me?
My current gravel bike is about 11kgs, which to me seems pretty light.

Re: Gravel Bike Tyres
Hi guys,
I'm finally getting round to sorting out some new tyres. Just to update: I'm probably doing more like 50% canal towpaths, 30% gravelly foot paths and 20% roads, pretty much always in dry conditions. Some of the canal paths around here are pretty bumpy, often with bricks and tree roots appearing out of nowhere. Currently have Gatorskins which feel way too small for this sort of cycling. Would Schwalbe Allrounds be a good replacement?

Gravel Bike Tyres
Hi all,
I have a Specialised Diverge A1 gravel bike and it currently has Gator tyres. They are getting pretty old and worn now and I want to replace them with something which will be nice on the road and also down canal towpaths and gravelly bike tracks. The Gators have been pretty indestructible, i.e. no punctures in 700km of cycling, so ideally something hardy.
Many thanks

Re: Broken Sora Derailleur Replacement
Hey everyone, thanks so much for your replies and help. I really appreciate it. Having fitted the new derailleur, I think my bracket might be bent. As this may have contributed to the original damage I'm keen to sort. Can any of you identify the bracket? I will try bending it back for now, but I will probably get a new bracket asap.

Re: Broken Sora Derailleur Replacement
Possibly... it's a used bike and the fella before me was cycling to work each day on it. Since then I've pretty much taken it up and down a disused railway line 1-2 times a week

Thanks guys for your replies. I'm only currently interested in replacing like for like. Which should I get? The short or the medium?

Re: Broken Sora Derailleur Replacement
Is there any difference between the RD-3500-SS and the RD-R3000-GS?

Broken Sora Derailleur Replacement
Hi everyone,
I have this bike: https://www.specializedconceptstore.co. ... -sport-a1/
and my derailleur has somehow broken (see pic). I've been looking at replacements from:
https://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-sora-r ... erailleur/
I am assuming these will fit? Do I need the 'small' or 'large' cage?
Many thanks
