Re: Cycling glasses

Wear a cap with a peak? +1! better than photochromics, prescription sunglassed or clipovers IMO, since shady areas look dark. Especially photochromics, they react to UV light, not bright light, and will go dark even on dull days and you end up with eyestrain! Obtilabs photochromics.Mine are totally...

Re: I don't like living in England....

Exactly. As with every other country, England has a lot of really good aspects, but also serious faults. A positive approach is to keep and build on the good things and try to fix the problems. That applies to England, Wales, the USA, France, Germany, New Zealand , India........................... ...

Re: I don't like living in England....

Nothing wrong with England, as such, the problem's more to do with the people living there... ! Lockdown suited me - alas, they'll all be crawling back out of their burrows soon, blinking, keys to Suburu, Audi & Merc in hand. I've enjoyed lockdown too. Somewhat bizarrely I've seen more people t...

Re: Jihadi Brides and their Children.

She joined a terrorist group. That itself is an act of terrorism. All we know so far is that she left the UK as a 15 year schoolgirl to live in the territory controlled by ISIS and apparently with the intention of marrying a jihadist. She would have had to have committed much more serious acts to ju...

Re: Jihadi Brides and their Children.

How many times do you read about a Terrorist/Suicide bomber who was 'deradicalised' who then goes on to commit a Terrorist act?It just does not work. How many times indeed? Kindly elaborate. Evidence is there if you care to find it https://www.theweek.co.uk/terrorism/951460/deradicalisation-program...

Re: Would you take a vaccine against CV? Vote now please!

Many of our friends work for the NHS and many of them do not support this. What is it that they don't support, please? Thanks Jonathan It varies. Some don't support the vaccine full stop. Some don't support the vaccination strategy. The consensus on the fall out from all this is pretty much the same...
