Deleting a folder. Open up the folder, delete each route and when empty you can then delete the folder.

Hi Vantage - thanks for posting a solution. Just to clarify do you click on the elevation profile (mountain button) and then when you have the split screen showing then download the gpx prior to uploading it to the Etrex?

I use CT gpx routes on an Etrex 30x. I get the Loading track message. After a while I usually get bored with it and click the backup button and it reverts to the map.

I have cycled south from Inverness to Edinburgh. The route I took was the Sustrans route via Aviemore, Pitlochry and Perth. I took 3 days with overnights in Aviemore and nth of Pitlochry. Suggest that you have a look at the https://pedalportugal.com/ website - they have a number of suggested tour itinararies as well as comprehensive details of campsites and advice re weather etc.

Researched this earlier in the year and it is possible take a bike on a train to Sylt, although they encourage you to do so out of peak hours. Suggest you need also to look up Ecovia Litoral do Algarve part of which is a cycle path from Faro to the Spanish border. Don't know what it is like but should be better than the main roads.
