Hello Mick! Did you ever managed to finally make the hub quieter? As much as I love it on my 20 inch folding bike, the rattling is bothering me. It rattles when freewheeling. It's louder on bumps or on more rough surfaces.

Sturmey Archer CS-RK3 changing O.L.D.
Hello!
I've read few stories that in Sturmey Archer CS-RF3 (without disc) it is possible to remove one nut, and therefore fit a hub for 130mm spacing. As CS-RF3 is not available (im not UK based just in case), I went for CS-RK3 - im using V-brakes, but I thought this will still work.
I was suprised to discover that CS-RK3 (disc version) have only one lock nut (and cone of course). Now I wonder if I can remove this only lock nut? Will the hub still work as it should?
