Calais/Gravelines?
Hi folks
I wonder if anyone here can recommend a quiet route from Calais to Gravelines? - it should suit a large group of cyclists of mixed abilities in search of lunch! Restaurant recommendations are welcome too.
Merci bien! Andy

I tried renaming the file with an img extension but that didn't work either.....the last contibution quoting garmin support seems rather disappointing.

Re: Garmin 800 and POI issue
Thanks for replying johnb...
I used the dedicated uploader....and it wasn't a map...basically an excel file containing over 400 uk bike shops.
What's maddening is that I can see the file is present on the unit from my pc but the 800 itself cant read it.

Re: Cycling World magazine
Hi Pete, i was a long term subscriber too but it couldn't continue as it was.....racing reports were weeks late, stacks of poor grainy photos, the editor indulged some contributors I think. But lots of good touring reports (Ken Craven's Mojacar rides) and others besides, oh yes, those MZ and Honda A...

Re: Introductions - tell us about yourself
Hi everybody, I too have been lurking for some time and thought it about time i introduced myself - I also want to try and upload a pic! I'm 59, live in west London and early retired from a large airline - since I retired i've qualified as Cytech2, Bikeability Instructor and SkyRide Leader. My main ...

Re: new chain and cassette but....
Thanks for replying guys There is no frozen link as I checked for that but thanks for suggesting it. There was a little slipping before I fitted the new components but is seems slightly worse now. It's worse under load. Perhaps I should have mentiond that it's a Dualdrive APB with SRAM 3 speed hub -...

new chain and cassette but....
Hi Folks, I hope someone can help... I have just fitted a new chain and 8 spd cassette to my Moulton APB but still feel something slipping at the back occasionally. The chain is a Sram PC48 with a Shimano casette...surely this can't be a case of incompatibility can it? Could it be cauasd by the jock...

Re: Cycling World magazine
Cycling World is, sadly, very amateur. In honesty it would be best if someone could take it over and make it more professional as happened to Motorcycle Sport some years ago. Photos are poor and repetitive - half pages are given over to insignificant accessories. It's potential, now that cycling is ...

Re: Brompton - good or gimic?
hi pete75, i have an m6 brommie as part of my humble fleet and enjoy riding it on suitable journeys. it's fold is quick and very compact...peerless in this respect i reckon. the downside for me is it's antiquated gearing mechanism - both 3 speec hub and crude derailleur. If this is likely to trouble...

Brompton Inner tubes?
Hi Folks, I'm trying to find a narrower inner tube replacement than is normally available through my LBS. The original equipment tube is much narrower than the 16 x 1 3/4 usually available (eg Schwalbe's AV3) and as a result far easier to fit.... in fact I can even replace the trye by hand provided ...
