Re: 20st. mid-20's Beginner "cyclist" looking for advice on where to start

If you are unsure what you are buying you could buy something that requires some upgrad...

Re: Why there's so little discussion of cycling history?

I recommend a visit to the Museum of British Road transport in Coventry it is more than just vehicles, but includes whole social history about the development of the cycle and subsequent motor trade, factories and the mass movement of people as the factories and the houses needed to accommodate them...

Re: Maternity cycle wear

My ex had some lycra shorts he did not get on with and I inherited them... I think some of my earlier cycling tops were a little more generously sized than my more recent stuff, so I just got away with those stretching over the bump... (quite a bit of it was small mens) and the lycra was quite stret...

Re: Almost forgot how to ride...

So don't be too down heartened... just check it is right size cos XS could be a bit on the small side and contributing to the twitchiness. Y...

Re: Lancashire's most dangerous roads for cyclists

It's an interesting article. I for one have had 2 of my recent accidents on the A6 (3 if you count the one where my son knocked me off by riding into me ... knocking both of us off). One was south side of Chorley when a taxi turned right into me and one was north of Preston when someone kindly turne...
