Re: How did you vote in 2016? How would you vote now?

I voted leave and I'd do it again, those bullies in Brussels make me more determine than ever..... not forgetting the scaremongering coming from the remainers. Theresa May should go now and let a true brexitier handle the exit negotiations. Shame on Tony Blair, I regret supporting him with my vote....

Re: Bilateral vestibular dysfunction

Had what hit you? (Stable) Hypofunction has a reasonably well defined recovery path - hopefully one you are well along. Complete lack of function is fundamentally different, there is nothing to work with :( Despite 5-6 months of diligent VORvexcercises there has been absolutely no change in things l...

Voted 'what is'.. I know it's a TV show, but having never seen it "No" seems a bit of a strong reaction.

Re: Trucks Do Not Have Cyclist-Obscuring Blind Spots

To what extent does it matter if there are a lot of nervous people out there who feel too scared to cycle? There were lots of cyclists out on the roads around here today, more than there would have been twenty years ago. Why do we need to worry about those who don't join us? Does it matter? Compare...

Re: Should cyclists be allowed to use (some) M-way hard shoulders?

Compared with some A roads they look attractive - that’s an argument for improving A roads, or at least limiting them to stop them becoming defective* motorways, but without the building standards (i.e alternative routes).. Even if we laid, and maintained, a strip of tarmac on the left of the barrie...

Re: Trucks Do Not Have Cyclist-Obscuring Blind Spots

I'm sure that some people would pay for convenience, whilst others would rather save money, if offered a discount for a delivery time that is more convenient for the delivery firm. Only if the money saving outweighs the inconvenience. If say delivery costs £5 and they offer a a £3 reduction for a gi...

Re: Currently listening to .......

Undeniably talented - I’ll just listen rather than watching, it’s an easy solution to a very minor problem (particularly since it’s unlikely I’ll ever engineer for them)

Sounds really nice, but the guy on the right is really annoying me visually (and as an audio tech) by bouncing quite so much!

Re: ... how much rust is too much rust?

Too much rust is only a problem in that it can hold water etc and promote more rust. The actual problem is not enough steel left ;)

Re: Pedals suitable for barefoot shoes ( ultra-thin soles )

Looking around there does seem to be general support for more support...

Wonder if a completely flat pedal would work (flat and straps). Might get some SPD plate adaptors, they look easy to built onto:

Re: Pedals suitable for barefoot shoes ( ultra-thin soles )

I’ll be doing straps etc, it’s a question of support all the way back to the heel that I’m looking at (as in all along the sole of the foot, not something to support the heel from falling)
