ShImano brake fluid

Does Shimano brake fluid go off?
Either unopened or opened and partially used?

Re: Suggested handlebar mount for large-screen smartphone?

How about an old style handlebar bag and use the map pouch attached to the top.

Re: First E-Bike

I would agree with oldjohnw. Fitting a wheel like a Bionx, Canadian origin, keeps a bike which is set up for you and is reasonably easy to set up. In a hilly area they also have regenerative braking.

Re: Accidentally stripped crankarm in brand new bike

Did you screw the pedal in very far? If not, could you try to retap the thread using the correct pedal, for that direction thread, from the back of the crank.
If you did it all the way through, perhaps buy another chainset as sometimes bits of items cost nearly as much as the whole lot.

Shimano di2 leads

Are all di2 leads the same and if so how does the rear mechanism get it's instructions without the front mechanism being involved? Coding? Always wondered.

Re: Saddle sore

Is the site in the centre of the crotch? If it is on one side then you may have some type of hip problem on the opposite side. If the hip cannot move smoothly, vertically, then you may lift that side, throwing weight into the other side and making you sore. If you have been inactive for a few months...

Do the toe clips have toe straps? They should prevent movement.
