Re: Make your own face mask?

I see decathlon are still selling their surface snorkelling mask. That would get a few comments.

Re: My sqealing brake fix

I'm using, trailing edge of the brake block in relationship to the rotation of the wheel, not the bike. If you mean the front of the brake block, in relationship to the whole bike, that's the same.

Re: My sqealing brake fix

Is it possible that the brake block needs to be toed in so that the trailing end of the block engages the rim first.

Re: Epoxy

Yes, epoxy. If it peels then I'll try another but the web page above said it will bond.

Re: Reynolds aero tubing

Isn't the track bike just a low pro with round tubing?
The other in Panasonic colours looks like a mass market bike.
I'm talking about the Ilkeston built special division frames, built to order.Kevin
The one on the link is a cheap Pulsar, mass market.

Re: Epoxy

The ABS would have to be butt jointed, this would not be strong enough, allowing for imperfect glueing. Can't press them together, no movement. It would need a bridging system both in and out for a reasonable mend. But I don't have any ABS to do this.

Reynolds aero tubing

Just found a Raleigh brochure from the 1980's in which they show 531 speedstream and 753 dynaflyte.
We're many made? as you don't see many advertised or on the road.

Re: Epoxy

It's a small crack in a bike box.
I thought it could be bridged with mesh, so glass fibre plus epoxy or polyester resin. The two component type, resin plus hardener.
