One thing to consider is the amount of caravans and camper vans on the roads in this part of the world at this time of the year, also many of the lanes have very high banks with no verge = poor visibility. Choose your route carefully for maximum enjoyment.

Remember it gets bloody hot the further south you go to cover 100miles on 40degree heat.......means riding through the hottest part of the day.

I have an XGK II Very reliable and sound like a jet afterburner......you know its brew time when it's on. You can simmer on it but it does require practice.

vaseline - for chapped lips/face, for chaffing, add to cotton wool to make a fire lighter and be used to lube cables.
