Re: has this ever happened on UK airlines?

YOU have misread. My objection to Boyd stemmed from HIS hypocrisy in objecting to Pliptrot's generalization after his own, moderated rightly, comment. Never mind, let it be. I donæt know what you think you saw, but nothing of Boyd's was moderated on this thread. You are right. Boyd's generalisation...

Re: has this ever happened on UK airlines?

How would you know what my remark was if it was censored by the moderator? It would not have appeared so you could not have have read it? What are you talking about? Your remark was up quite long enough before moderation. Are you really trying to deny making it? I note you are unable to quote my ge...

Re: has this ever happened on UK airlines?

So you did generalise? censorship of me is acceptable but not of you? There is word for that, can't think what it is!! I made no generalisation. Prove I did. Neither did I censor. Your remark, censored by the moderator, would not have been printed in any British publication. How would you know what...

Re: myklops cycle mirror

You don't mention what type of brake levers you have. Mirrycle still make their original mirror for old style drop levers. With some work drilling and tapping I have fitted this model to an STI lever. Should work with SLR as well.

Re: The passing of the pristine country lane

The heap in the photo is truly depressing. The less gross but more pervasive trail of debris may be worse because it takes more clearing. I mean the near continuous dump of cheap lager cans, expensive sugar water bottles, remains of takeaway burger meals, disposable nappies etc. That is my whinge of...

Re: has this ever happened on UK airlines?

You have no idea how many times I am censored. None whatsoever. Feel free to quote yourself. It would be easy for you to prove your point about my generalising by quoting me. Your mistake may be confusing me withPliptrot. Feel free to apologize. Your generalisation to which I have refered was an un...

Re: Terrorist vehicle attacks -Shoot the driver

How about banning driver steered motor vehicles from areas where there are likely to be concentrations of pedestrians (ie urban centres)? With the road space released, a simple safe technology could take up the need for short range transport; it's called cycling... Good idea. After all, if you leav...

Re: Hello, I'm new.... And a brake question!

Give wheelbuilding a try. Everyone begins somewhere. I learned from a book. That wheel lasted many miles. After hundreds of wheels I am just faster. Hmmm, i do have an old fixie that needs a new front wheel. maybe I could try that out as the furthest I go on it is down to the local shops. What are ...

Re: How to React to Bad Drivers...?

I find the fig is not the middle finger but the thumb protruding between the first and second fingers. This may be Bez's rude sign.
Cunobelin, my encounter was amicable really.

Re: How to React to Bad Drivers...?

there's a nice little gesture that's not commonly understood here but is very offensive in Italy :) I was once overtaken bya jeering group in an open car. The holiday traffic was slow and we had time to exchange gestures. I began with a V sign, went on to the fig [middle finger protruding from the ...

Re: has this ever happened on UK airlines?

So that makes your generalisation acceptable? I made no generalisation. Reread. I pointed out a previous generalisation by you but this was censored. It seems you may make allegations of generalising but I may not. You have no idea how many times I am censored. None whatsoever. Feel free to quote y...
