Campagnolo Veloce shifter issues

Does anyone know a good resource for stripping and refurbishing 10 speed Veloce shifters? There is plenty on YouTube but these tend to show Record level which have different components inside. An exploded diagram would be great too. Also where can I purchase any spare parts once I have identified th...

Re: Front rack

I wouldn't use an unbranded rack. Jonathan PS: Why do you prefer a rack and bag to a handlebar bag for "a few bits and pieces"? I have a handlebar bag but the clamp is the wrong diameter for the bars, I am hoping to attach that bag to a rack, also with lights bell etc. there is no room fo...

Re: North Downs Way

I will be riding between two of my sister's houses, one near Farnham and the other in Reigate, would this be rideable on my Genesis Croix de Fer? I have ridden the Granite and Gears from Burrator to Princetown in Dartmoor so not adverse to some rougher stuff, my other option would be my Surly Krampu...

Best gear cables

I have been having all kinds of indexing issues recently and decoded to re-cable for the new year. I have dura ace bar end shifters to ulegra mechs, all 9speed. After reliability over cost but nothing overtly spendy. The shifters state to only be used with 7700 mechs, would this be the issue? I set ...

Re: Spa Cycles Super Compact Chainset

On a similar note, I used the 2 inside rings on a road triple with a chain guard in the outer position 42/30 was absolutely fine. Now riding a compact with 44/34 to 32 cassette, also using an ultegra ss rear mech with no problems!

Re: genesis day one V il pompino

I have had a Day One for just over a year now, I have changed the tyres to Randoneurs, carbon seat post, the saddle to a Spesh BG, the brakes to cantis, the chain to one more sensible and put on mudguards. I must say I run it fixed 42-16 and have a 17t freewheel if I feel tired and am lucky enough to...
