Re: Do you really want to go to heaven?

Hundreds of years ago life for common people was pure drudgery. Homes were cold, damp, dark and dirty. Daily life was hand-to-mouth fight for survival with nothing ahead but a decline to ill health and death. Not a lot has changed for some then. But thousands of years ago when our ancestors were hu...

Re: Do you really want to go to heaven?

I've worked out that heaven is another existence where the soul goes, I have personally seen spirits/ghosts twice. Re: List of recent 'innovations' of the cycling industry

On the ahead system the pressure on the bearings is applied along the height of the stem stack which allows for play through the leverage of the stem. Gradual play must happen through the movement of the stem.

Re: Sustrans no good for touring

The mistake sustrans have made is to send the routes straight through cities and towns instead of creating a circular ring road type route that would join up with connecting routes,. So you could avoid the towns if wanted.

Today i threw the paper recycling bag in the bin.

In the heat of the moment i was tidying up the house and fed up with this poly recycle bag living in a cubboard. Now i reasoned to myself that it might be better for the planet if we didnt recycle as then materials will get more expensive and i wont be getting any free papers and endless leaflets th...

Re: The passing of Britool

This is what happens when you leave 'The Market' to decide the outcome of society. So long as the few keep raking in the cash and paying themselves and share holders huge dividends then nothing else matters, apparently. Same with the Stagecoach farce, we still pay billions to private rail companies...

Human extinction in the next generation?

Well no one will know for sure but to me mankind is heading for its own extinction within the next 50 to 70 years.
